Donegal Safety Services (DSS) is a Health & Safety Training and Consultancy company based in Donegal. We work with businesses, organisations and individuals throughout Donegal and Ireland. We are constantly adding new training courses and consultancy services to our portfolio, driven by our clients needs.
Donegal Safety Services (DSS) was established in 2020 by Martin McMenamin, who has more than 25 years experience in the development and delivery of training in multiple fields.

We are always willing to meet with clients in advance of training to plan an approach that will maximise the on the job benefits to participants. We provide in house training where we will travel to your workplace at a time that is convenient to you and your employees. As well as normal working hours we will deliver training in the evenings or at weekends. Just contact us and we will arrange the training to suit your time frame. All we require from our venues is adequate space for us to deliver our courses to a specified number of people.
Companies or individuals who require small numbers of participants to be trained can send candidates to our Public Courses which we will run throughout the year as needed.
All training provided complies with the employer’s statutory obligations under the relevant Health and Safety Legislation. Training will be facilitated through engaging PowerPoint presentations, video examples, interactive discussions, practical demonstrations and practice. Our experienced tutors ensure that participants fully understand the material.
In July 2025 Donegal Safety Services became an approved CPD provider. CPD accredited means that our company and courses has been formally evaluated and approved by an independent recognised CPD body to meet specific standards of quality and relevance. This third party approval assures learners that the training provides high-quality learning experiences, is professionally credible, and contributes the correct amount of CPD credits or points to their professional development record. to ensure that we as a company and our courses guarantee quality assurance materials meet and exceed the required standards.
In August 2025 Donegal Safety Services became an Irish Heart Foundation affiliated training site. We value our affiliation with the Irish Heart Foundation and look forward to working with them to strengthen the chain of survival in every community, www.irishheart.ie.
